How Plass works
A managed lettings service — not another login for the school.
Plass markets the space, books the hirer, takes the payment, staffs the evening and shows the school every pound. The software exists so that service can run cleanly.
For clubs and hirers
- Search without already knowing the school.
- See live times, add-ons and a clear total. Pay first — then it’s confirmed.
- Keep a weekly slot, skip a date, or let Auto-Extend carry a trusted pattern forward.
- Message Plass about your session. We never publish who is on the rota.
- Opt in to Live tonight if you want new people — a few lines, a link, Plass approves. Family bookings stay “in use”.
For schools
- See tonight, who is covering, and the books — without chasing a spreadsheet.
- Hirers pay Plass. 5% of gross, staff from what’s left, then you are paid monthly.
- Condition photos and tickets sit on the space. Safeguarding stays with Plass until we send it over.
For colleagues on site
- If you’re shifted, the first screen is Start shift. Clock in, run the book, clock out.
- Before and after photos on every space. Pay ticks while you work.
- Split a shift, pick up cover, or shadow as training — both people have to agree.
